I've been wanting to buy an mp3 player for awhile. but haven't had the money but now i have a job but don't wanna blow all the money right away. so i want to put either a creative zen or zune on lay a way. can someone tell me how it works? and their opinion on if i should get a zune or creative zen.

Layaway in general, works in the method of paying in installments.
Most places, you'll spend about 1/2 the cost of the item for them reserving it for you!
When you really want something, you put it on layaway. The fees are relatively high when the item is hot!
If you pay layaway one month, then don't pay it the next month, and someone wants the item you're wanting to have reserved, the store may not care. They might sell it anyway.
All depends on how bad you want it.

I live in Arkansas and Wal-mart no longer has layaway.
Rather than paying a store in installments then getting the product, why don't you pay yourself in in stallments-set aside the money-then buy the product?
As for which one to get, I suggest you read the specs for the one's you are interested in and reading product reviews. Hopefully objective one's.
