I have been reading a magazine where it seems possible to buy MP4 players for a good price online. They possess a fair size eg (2 GB) memory and have eg features like video playback and, often an fm radio. Is this the time to ocnsider MP$ or is MP3 still the better option (until maybe they make better MP4 players)?

If you want to just listen to music get mp3 player or if you are on the road or want to watch something get mp4 player. To tell you the truth I would just get a mp3 player. Why? because after you watch videos they get boring after a while and you will not watch them anymore after you watch your videos. Plus, they waste more battery life. Always check battery life of a player first because most mp4 players use A LOT of battery life than the mp3 players that just play songs (even if you have sleep mode).

It depends on what you want from a player,if you want video playback then an mp4 is a better option for you.
go for an iphone, they just cant be beat. anyone buying new phone or mp3/4 should get one. They aren't cheap, but i swear they are worth every penny.
i was not expecting much when i brought it, but i love it now. i love it more than my quadcore vista pc, which cost 4 times as much.
