Can you upload MP3's from your computer to a Chocolate LG phone for free, like an MP3 Player?

And if so how, thinking about getting one and want it to act both as an mp3 player and a phone.

You have 3 options:

You can get songs onto your device by using a microSD card and card reader with your PC. Basically you would need to first insert the card into the phone to format it. By inserting it, the screen lights should come on and some folders will automatically be added to the card. Then you can remove the card and put it into a card reader on your PC. Simply drag and drop your MP3's into the My_music folder. This way they can come up under your My Music on the phone.

Option number two would be to download songs directly from VZW under VCAST Music. They would cost $1.99 per song. You won't need any additional subscription to access this content, as it can be found under your Get-It-Now Menu on the phone.

Option number three would be to purchase the Music Essentials Kit from VZW for $39.99. This will include a USB cable and software to sync your phone directly to you PC for file transfer. Be mindful that you would require Windows XP to run this application. Good luck!

Once you have the music loaded, you will be able to access it by holding the play button on your front cover or going under Get it Now, Tunes and tones, My Music or My MP3.
